LSW brings a background in feature film, television, and IMAX location scouting and management to commercial projects throughout the Southwest. P.J. Connolly uses that experience to find locations that support the visual direction of the project while fitting the practical needs of the shoot.
About P.J. Connolly – Southwest Location Scout
P.J. Connolly developed a solid understanding of production through his experience as a technician, grip, best boy grip, key grip, and electrician on set. Prior to working in the film industry, he held various jobs — such as Special Olympics Winter Games Director for Arizona — that involved coordinating people and activities. As an outdoor educator, Connolly took students on river, cross-country skiing, and backpacking trips throughout the Southwest. Later during the summers, he worked as a Grand Canyon river guide. Connolly founded Locations Southwest, Inc., in 1990.
P.J. Connolly has spent over 20 years working as a Southwest location scout and manager. These are just a few of the projects he has worked on.
